Short Trio Stories
“It all started almost by chance in April 2023 with the perception - from the very first notes - that such a beautiful experience would make us want to continue.
The idea of a repertoire with strongly contrasting combinations directed us towards the Trio Op.1 No. 1 by Beethoven, a young man full of positive energy, followed by a piece by S.O.A.D. (System od a Down), exponents of ‘nu metal’, to the transcendent and intense Ara Bàtur by Sigur Ròs, and concluding with my Short Trio Stories, which crosses several figures, stories and places; Leonardo da Vinci with his musical rebuses, to the ‘secret’ Beethoven collected in the Biamonti Catalogue, from the ‘gipsy’ culture to a ‘recontextualised’ Domenico Scarlatti”.
